2022 Highlights
Montefiore Einstein Anesthesiology
Montefiore Einstein Anesthesiology is a hub for integrated perioperative and periprocedural care across Montefiore Health System. In 2022, we made significant strides in research and digital health and implemented new, evidence-based approaches to perioperative medicine. Through these innovations, we continued to provide the highest level of care to our patients and made a significant impact on the lives of nearly 100,000 people.

Note from the Chair
2022 was a year of transformative change for the Montefiore Einstein Department of Anesthesiology. Throughout the last year, we were able to see the impact of investments we made in 2021 on the value of care we provide to our patients. These investments include the commencement of two new service lines — Anesthesia Services at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, New York, as well as Surgical Critical Care in collaboration with the Montefiore Einstein Department of Surgery.
