Congratulations to Steve Shelov, MD, MS recipient of the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein 2023 Alumni Career Achievement Award. Dr. Shelov was instrumental in the founding of The Children's Hospital at Montefiore Einstein. In 19 years as Director of Resident Education and Program Directorship, Dr. Shelov was responsible for training approximately 800 pediatric residents at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Shelov was responsible for overseeing the pediatric education of 4000 Albert Einstein College of Medicine medical students.
