We performed over 2,400 joint replacements, with our center holding the “Bronx’s first and only Joint Commission Advanced Certification” for Hip & Knee Replacement and Wakefield Hospital being the only Nursing Magnet facility in the borough.
In 2024, we performed over 2,400 joint replacements, with our center being the first and only in the Bronx to hold Joint Commission Advanced Certification for Hip & Knee Replacement. This distinction highlights our commitment to providing the highest standards of care to our patients. The Wakefield campus, home to our Joint Replacement and Trauma services, also continues to set the standard by being the first and only Nursing Magnet facility in the Bronx. This shows our dedication to clinical excellence and nursing leadership.
