New Neuropathy Clinic Expands the Evaluation and Management of Peripheral Neuropathies
The Montefiore Einstein Neuromuscular Medicine Division of the Saul R. Korey Department of Neurology is comprised of a leading team of adult and pediatric neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuropathologists, neuromuscular fellows, physician assistants and neuroscience nurses who see patients with a diverse array of neuropathies, including Guillain-Barré syndrome, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, mononeuropathies in the limbs, neuropathies due to genetic conditions, and neuropathies due to other medical conditions. We provide expert assessment and management of both common and rare causes of neuropathy and are an international referral site for the most complex neuromuscular conditions.

Peripheral neuropathies are common, with many subtypes and causes. In the United States, more than 20 million people are estimated to have some form of peripheral neuropathy.
