The clinical focus of Andrew H. Lee, MD, includes gender-affirming surgery (GAS) with a focus on facial feminization surgery (FFS). These procedures are complex and require a deep understanding of all areas of facial plastic surgery, including bone contouring, rhinoplasty, soft-tissue work and facial rejuvenation. Dr. Lee has an extensive patient following, and he has already helped over 60 patients navigate GAS. 

Dr. Lee’s research interests include optimizing outcomes and improving the safety of the procedures in FFS. He won the Sir Harold Delf Gillies Award for his research on the anatomy of the tracheal shave procedure and swallowing. Prior to Montefiore Einstein, Dr. Lee completed his facial plastic surgery fellowship at Boston Medical Center and the Spiegel Center, and he completed his residency at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
